Robert Fletcher Wildlife Artist
Robert Fletcher has lived in Satterthwaite since the early 1970's, relocating from Accrington East Lancashire. He moved to work as a forest worker based at the Grizedale Center.
Having painted and drawn from an early age. Robert used the influences of his work place and the surrounding environment to create his own style of wildlife and landscape studies.
Roberts use of pencil and crushed pastel has been developed to reflect the forest scenes. Resulting in atmospheric images; of misty woodlands, colorful sunsets and spectacular sunrises.
His wildlife portraits and bird studies have developed along side his interests in wildlife and conservation.
Robert now works from his studio at Laburnum Cottage, Satterthwaite. Visitors can meet Robert who is more than happy to talk about his work and his hobby as a conservationist.
We have been producing prints and cards in house since foot mouth 2001. This side of the business is run under the name of Wildlife Design & Print.
One range of cards we have developed, are personalized Christmas Cards. We also print for a small number of artists and now intend to expand this service
